Does Motorola currently offer an IMBE "suitcase" repeater? I saw something on here a while back, but can't find it now.

Per the August, 2004 price book, a fully equipped PDR 3500 is $19,775, plus tax. This includes the built-in duplexer, plus the ASTRO modem board ($1,300, so if you don't need this, subtract this amount).
BTW, it must be equipped with ASTRO CAI conventional software. This adds $1,925 (which I included in the $19,775 total), but it is mandatory on the STIC-1, as there is no other choice for PDR 3500 operating software.
The PDR 3500 is essentially a complete set of Quantar boards lying flat in a modified Zero One aluminum case.

At least in New York, they're available to government and public safety agencies on state contract pricing. Here's a link to one of the price sheets:
http://unitedradio.com/communications/pdr%203500.pdf
If I remember correctly, NYS contract pricing reflects about 15% off list.
Hope this helps.
