I'm confused about a couple of things. I had thought that all Astro Saber II and IIIs had 255 modes. But now I noticed by looking at some of the flash codes out there that some radios have the 250 mode feature activated and some don't.

So here are my 2 questions: 1. Why does the feature say 250 modes? Is it 250 or 255? 2. How many modes does a radio have if the 250 mode feature is not activated. Thanks.

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

As far as I know, all of them are 255 modes. Why there is a 250 mode option, I don't know. It may be a requirement if certain features are installed in the radio, but I can't tell you for sure. I have never seen a radio with the option enabled.

Thanks. That helps. I had an Astro Saber III once that had this Flash: 7D8308-9FC000-2. If you decode that, it shows the 250 modes enabled.
