I Have a spectra A9 radio in my pickup @ this time, but am looking to upgrade to a astro W9 radio and was needing to know If i will need to replace my control cable or will the A9 cable work becuase I really don't want to remove the seats and other things to get old cable out any help will be great thanks again

it's the same as the systems 9000 control cable, HKN4356b.

if you have the older Y cable, i don't think it'll work.

I don't know about the W9... but I'm using an old Y cable (5 of them, actually) in the truck, 3 with A7 Spectras and 2 with W7 Astro Spectras, and they work just fine.
