I aquired a GM950 mobile radio through an auction with two other radios for work. It is my understanding this radio is an overseas radio. Can anyone tell me if I will be able to do anything with the radio here, or if I should re-sell it.

Overseas? it depends on your location...
Nice piece of radio, 4/128 modes(N2/N3), pl/dpl, select5, emergency operation, 3-digit display (N3 moidel), big useless display (N4 model), 2/6 programmable keys(N3/N4), programmable acc conn pins, No MDC

So, is this radio a European rig or....? I'm guessing I have no use for it in the states since I don't think anywhere will be able to program it or anything.

It's European / Asian, and probably not type approved in the USA (unless you want to use it on the ham bands).

Okay, so I still have this thing. Does anyone out there have the capabilities to reprogram or know somewhere I could get this done. Would it be possible to trick it into believing it is its US counterpart?

Can you post the motorola radio model number on the serial number label? That would help us to determine which band & features are resident.

I think its a 146-174 band model(K) but not sure. I can find no reference to an M08 model.
How about the first 3 numbers of the serial number?
