Been toying with the idea of putting TIR3's in the grille of my '04 Sierra but can't figure out how to mount them.

I had thought about mounting all 4 of them on an piece of angle on the radiator cross brackets, but fear the color will get blocked out by the grille itself. I would prefer to mount them in the slats in the grille itself, but am not really sure. I looked at exterior mounting on the grille, but that would take away from the stealthy look of the lights. I want them out of sight.

Anybody done an succesful install, and in an position to give pointers? Any ideas/ tips would be greatly appreciated.

I appreciate the link for the brackets and had actually looked at them at one time. I have two problems with them, one can be worked around. The bracket, if I could install it would be too tall to mount the TIR3 in the supplied holes. I can easily modify the the brackets by drilling new holes lower. So that is the first problem I could work around.

The other is physically mounting the bracket to the grille. I can remove the grille to mount the brackets on the backside, but unfortunately the grille is even all the way down the backside. There is no way to drill holes for the bracket to mount to the grille.

That's why I was hoping somebody could clue me in on what has worked for them in the past on this type of truck.
