I've got a high power VHF Spectra laying around and wondered if it would be possible, or even feasible, to convert to Astro. I think someone posted a similar thread but I can't find it.

You are correct that a similar thread was posted, I believe in the general forum. The replies indicated that you would pretty much have to replace every board in the unit. Not feasible at all.

Thanks, Todd. I knew it would be difficult and probably expensive, but I had to ask.

When you say a high power unit, do you mean the 110 watt A9 remote mount unit?
