Hi, can anyone tell me how to disable the Ignition sense line Pin#10

There's a small 4A "pico" fuse inside on the logic board, usually near the accessory jack. I believe it's labeled JU801 even though it is a fuse. It's usually a shiny green color and is between a few other 1/4 watt resistors. I could take a picture and post it, but the location varies for the different logic boards, so if you want a picture, let us know the HLN9xxx board number so we get the proper info for you.

Some people cut one end, some people remove it, some people apply power to the ignition sense line and key the transmitter and blow that fuse out. If you can reconnect it, that will eliminate the need for the ignition sense wire. Otherwise, to do the job "properly", you'll have to remove the board, unsolder the remains of the fuse, and install a new one.

I don't think it actually has to have that big a current rating. A one ohm resistor would probably work in a pinch. You might be able to buy fuses from an electronics supply house locally, or through places like Mouser and Digikey.

Another alternative is to see if there's a source of unswitched A+ on the accessory jack, and hook the ignition sense pin to that voltage. The GTX mobiles have such a source, although it's not labeled as such, and making that connection does away with the need for the extra power wire.
