Install and Contracts

Ok, need some help with a legal question (oye).
I submitted a competative bid to do an install on an 05 CVPI, it's the first new car I'll be working on, but not the first vehicle I've done quality work on. I was at the opening of the bid, I matched all specifications, I've satisfied their demands of showing similar work (although on older vehicles, one of theirs actually), I've met a value on new work ($2 million building) but I've got one guy with a vendetta pushing to spend the extra 6 grand with a different company. It's a private non-profit company, but the vehicle will have official (new york) plates on it (given to municipalities only).
Any ideas on how I can win this, I need a demo car, but I don't have a budget to go out and buy a brand new car just to show off to people. I do quality work and I'm the cheapest. I've also got a ford factory certified mechanic on retainer to verify my work. Is there anything I can do?
