MSR2000 cans

I just bought an MSR2000, and it came with the factory duplexor. This is useless to me now, since i want a split fo 600 kHz. I know it's a long shot, but i do have a pair of taller cavities in storage... could i piggy back these onto the small cans to get enough separation for what i'm doing? I know normal installations have 4 or 6 of the tall cans.... this would give me 4 small ones and 2 tall ones.....

just curious if i can make do with what i have, or if i have to hunt down some new cans.

thanks
Ken

You need to post the models of the cans

Pay now or pay later.
It is better to get the proper cans first.

My two bits worth:
Short answer: NO.

The internal duplexer is suitable for a couple of meg spacing at the closest.

You will have to use an external duplexer, which is about the size of the MSR cabinet.

Such close spacing requires a notch, or pass/notch duplexer.

Pass cavities have far too much band width to be used in a close spaced applications.
