I've programmed my radio with RSS Version R06.05.00 however i want to put the codeplug on to a RSS Version R06.00.00, is it possiable to down grade the codeplug? or make an S-Record from the Radio on the Lab? Reason i want to use it on the 6.00 is that my good computer with numeric keypad dosn't work V06.03 for some reason and writing out alot of frequncies can get tiring on the the other computer.

Not a good idea. But if you want to try it,read the codeplug with MTSX-Lab,with no pack/unpack and save it to disk(better on a second disk too).
If you have problems, you can easy restore the radio,to the original configuration.
In the most cases,it is not possible to downgrade a real MTS2000.

If you have a saved codeplug in 6.00.00 for that radio (or one with the same model & flashcode) you can write it to the radio, effectively downgrading it.

I'm not sure how/why this worked and with which versions of the software, but I was able to get an older version of the software to work.
If you follow the "'Fixing' or Recovering From a Toolproof" backup instructions found on
http://www.batlabs.com/mtsx.html with an older version of lab software as indicated, and then restore the backup as directed, it seems to downgrade the codeplug without having changed anything. I don't know why.
