Be careful with that AC power inverter! MOst of these produce a square wave AC output and will overheat transformers and other power supplies plugged into them. If you look at the output on a scope, you will see that the power is at 100% at all times rather than slightly dying off between cycles of a sine wave. I replace quite a few laptop power supplies because of these inverters. If you are going to use one, look into one that produces a true sine wave or one that produces what's called a "modified sine wave."
Keep that equipment healthy!

In order to put images in you need to do the following:

1) Upload the images to a web server
2) Put code in the reply that has the image location in it.

example:

Code: Select all

<IMG SRC="http://batboard.batlabs.com/picturename">
replace batboard.batlabs.com and picture name with the domain and the directory where the picture is on the server.

That will allow you to have a picture in a post.

Just remember to put a good securty system in your car. I'm not sure where you live but Car break-ins are a big occurance here in Colorado. I too have a S-10 Blazer that I have been thinking about putting some more stuff in. Right now I have an ICOM CS-2800H Remote mount for ham. And a Spectra Remote mount I use as my Fire Deparment Radio.

I love the setup, It looks great. Hope you take good care of it and have lots of fun with it. :smile:

I did some research in car theft prevention, and I'll pass on some tips.

First and foremost, <b>Car Alarms do not stop dedicated people from stealing your stuff.</b> Wires can be cut, batteries removed; the pro's know all the tricks.

Good advice is NOT to put a sticker on your car window that tells the name of the security system. That just helps the crook to know how to disable it.

Stock up on insurance, because it is the only thing that can keep your belongings in your possession in the long run.
