I've never seen or heard of one that did. I've seen numerous instances of the Motorola Code Synthesizer II used to generate the pocsag into the 'Ext Mod In' port of the R2001.

And, if you need to decode POCSAG there are at least a couple of service monitors that can, such as the IFR COM-120 series and the HP-8920's.

My two bits worth:
The R2001D which is in my opinion a fine unit is not supported by Motorola as far as such modifications as trunking are concerned.

When this was a current unit this mod had to be done at Schaumburg depot. (now in Elgin, IL.)

There were two versions.
The trunking version only works with Motorola trunking, not MPT 1327, or LTR.

If you require an analyzer for Motorola trunking I would sugest locating a
unit which is already optioned for trunking.
I am aware that some R2001D units had problems in Australia because of high mains voltages in some areas. There are modifications for this problem.

My two bits worth:
New modules are no longer available, and were rather expensive when available.
You would have to find a scrapped unit, and remove the following:
A-17 RF module, if you don't have the "Enhanced duplex generator" option, Power combiner which is located on the CRT bracket, Enhanced 'Processor board, along with the necessary version firmware, as well as the trunking board.
In the early 90s the board was about $3,000US, not counting the other bits and peices.

I have been looking for an A-5 power supply module for a couple of years, and have not found one yet.

In this time period I was the Western Pacific Depot, and would not have attempted this modification when I had full factory support.

There is another member of this board whom was the senior tech at Test equipment. Perhaps Dave can give you much more information than I can.
