ANY WAY TO GET A QUANTAR TO GO INTO HAM FREQS. ON VHF.

what?
the VHF quantar is available in two splits, Range 1 and Range 2.
Range 2 specs as 150-174, they will program into the upper portion of the 2m band just fine.
Range 1 specs as 136-154, and obviously they cover 2m as well.
UHF comes in FIVE flavors,
original Range 1, 403-433
modified Range 1, 380-433
Range 2, 440-470
Range 3, 470-490
Range 4, 490-520

I hear that the range 2 vhf pa does not perform well below 150 - can anyone confirm this?

my range 2 PA has been running on 147.315 for almost a year.
no problems, no pa alarms

technically its been running on 147.915
it was also on 147.885 prior to that.. like mcdonalds "its lovin it"
hahahahah

well, if that were true then my repeater is running reverse split
the POWER AMPLIFIER has been running on 147.315 for almost a year
dippy!
