M120 Repeater help?

I'm trying to build a repeater out of 2 VHF M120 radios, 16 pin. I built the simple interface that is available on the batlabs page, but for some reason it's not working. I know that there are repeater kits available and such, but I'm trying to build this myself. The RX radio is receiving, but not triggering the TX radio. I tried reprogramming the radios into repeater mode, but still no luck. Is there something i'm missing here?
Any help appreciated.

For the $100 bucks, get one of Will's repeater maker interfaces.

Some M120's do NOT have the RUS function on the accessory connector. So, even my Repeater Module would not work.!

First thing I would check is to see if pin 11 goes low when your rx radio recieves it signal. This will only go low with the correct pl also. if that works ground your ptt on the tx radio (pin 2) if that works its your interface. Hopw this helps....

Check the accessory options screen in the RSS, From main menu, F4, F2, F9.
See if the pins are programmed correctly for your interface.

First of all, it's PIN 8 for the COR, pin 11 is the discriminator audio. Secondly, it's PIN 3 for the PTT, pin 2 is the TX audio input.

It all depends on how it was setup in the RSS.
Once again, you missed the fact it's an
M120, not a GM300.

Geesh! Todd, do you think we need to whack a few over the head?
Read what type of radios he has!
Most 2 channel M120's have masked logic boards. You cannot program
the 16 pin accessory connectors. They are fixed unless someone transplanted them with expanded logic boards.
