Is there an online site (organized) that you can look up the Tx na Rx of a repeater? At my FD we have many channels that are fire ground channels But we have 1 channel that we haven't given anyone only OUR radio have this channel basicly so we can b.s. with out having everyone eles chime in. Is there a way for some one to look up both the tx and rx of that repeater on the net. I tried looking at the FCC site but i can't find the 2 freg together. Are there any sites that would show both of them together. I know I am rambling here. To much caffine and not enough sleep but the cheif wants to know about this. Any info would help. Thanks

The License of your repeater should have the input with it. It is not all that difficult to figure out which is the input and output. A repeater output in the FCC Database is labeled as FB2. A fixed input will be labeled as FX1 type station. The only thing you can't find there is the tones. So hope that helps. Good Day, Radio Kid

Go to the FCC ULS web site at:

http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls/

And as radio kid mentioned, the designators show which is the input and which is the output. You can search by city, county, etc... So it's easy to find the info if you know how to use the search engine there.

And as mentioned, it won't show any tones used, so if you have a PL or DPL setup its not going to be listed with the search results.

You could also try going to lindsay's site and look to see if he has the information your looking for. He will make you register to be able to look at the database, but he has info for most of the states there.

Try going to http://www.radioreference.com and look around the site.
