A friend that has never used CPS before just called me with an odd problem.

He can read the radio (AS2) with no problem, but CPS will not let him change any field values. He says they’re “grey”, which to me means they’re display only fields.

It’s a new CPS install. Any ideas for me to troubleshoot this by phone?

Is it possible he is trying to edit trunking personalities and does not have the appropriate system key?

Hmmm... good question! I'll give him a call.

Or he has the key but hasn't "imported" it to the CPS (which means just telling the CPS where the key file is located on the computer).
