Voltage sense auto start

Is there such a thing as voltage sense auto start. I run a variety of radios, computer, battery chargers and PAC Rt in my work van . I am looking for an voltage sensing auto start that will start the van when the battery reaches a perdetermine voltage. I already have remote auto start., battery buddy and tender. Any ideas or help would be apprecieated .

Sounds to me like a way to get someones fingers chopped off if you forget about it and go to check the oil. Add some more batteries and set an alarm, but dont start the vehicle.

Hello,
Most automatic/remote start units have a connection for a pin switch to be installed so that when the hood is open the unit is disabled.

The voltage sense is for the tach-wire connection. You can either run a wire under the hood to the tach wire or negative fuel injector wire so the unit quits running the starter when it gets this signal that the vehicle has started. The other option on some remote starts (Directed Electronics) is a voltage sensing mode where you do not run the wire, the unit responds to the change in voltage to know whether the vehicle has started, but running the wire is correct and works a lot better

Design tech makes a remote starter that has that feature. I have researched this topic extensively since the batteries on my old blazer used to die a lot due to current drain. If you enable that mode on the designtechs they will monitor the voltage. If the voltage drops near dead battery status they will start the car automatically for a predetermined amount of time. The only problem I ran into was that you will need a big alternator that can provide enough juice at idle to charge a battery, if not you will kill the battery faster by constantly starting the engine since the system won't be able to charge but will still sense the low voltage.
