Another site for Vehicle Installs

I recently came across this site.

http://www.evta.info/forums/

It appears to be a fledgling forum. The administrator has been great to deal with and helpful. The site itself has some pretty neat ideas, concepts and features.

They just need some posts and discussions. Start asking questions, picking topics and type away............!!!!!

I bounce between Batlabs, EVTA and E-Lightbars and read every topic that catches my eye. I know several others on here follow the vehicle installs threads religiously too.

I just thought everyone else might enjoy EVTA once the ball really gets going there.

Thanks.

Blaze.

Looks to be mostly fire truck related... so that means it doesnt apply to me. =/ Where is the installs section? TOO many subforums there IMO.

I asked that too

At first glance, it did look strictly fire department related so I asked that of the administrator. He advised that Firefighting was the background to the site but that it was meant to be for Emergency Vehicle Technicians, Installers and anyone interested in the realm. I asked about Law Enforcement Avatars and he was more than open to adding some if they could be found. I think because it's still in its early stages, that was why he only had the Firefighter Avatars. Give it some time.

Don't sell the site short. It just needs some discussions to get going like Batlabs needed once upon a time did. Look what Batlabs is today. Without inputs and discussion, forums are not any fun or interesting.

Take another look and give it a try.

Just to clear it up

I run that other board...... and it was originally designed for Fire - but the EVTA has moved to encompass all aspects of Police - Fire - Amb - Public Works....

It is just heavy with fire becasue we started handing out cards at the latest Fire Mech Academy in CA...

Feel free to check it out.... there is a specific section for Emergency vehicle installs.....

Also hopefully in the near future the EVTA will be offering install classes for emergency equipment....
