Looking for options for some sort of console for my Chevy Lumina. It has a bench seat so space is limitted for the amount of equipment going in. I have 3 A9 Spectra heads, one A7, One DIN sized scanner, and one DIN sized CB radio. If I could find something that could accomodate the 3 A9 and 1 A7 heads I could mount the other 2 on the side or something.

Looking for ideas.
Thanks,

Ron

I believe Jaymz tried Jotto's Impala console in his Lumina with no success.

I took a Troy CC-C06 and modified it to fit. There was only about 12" of useable faceplate space though. With some creativity, you might be able to get a little more.

You could also pull the split bench out and install a set of cushy leather bucket seats and put a full-size console down the center.

If only I hadnt put those buckets from my camaro into my boat LOL
Come to think of it, I have a factory Camaro console, I might look into hacking that into pieces if I cant find something more suitable. I thought Lumina's were used in some departments? You would think someone would have a ready made solution somewhere.

The Lumina was available in a Police Package for a while. It had the 3.8L engine in it and came standard with Recaro bucket seats.

Ahh, probably not many around either to go robbing partss off of. Must be pretty fast with the 3.8l.

The Lumina Special Service Package (SSP) was akin to the '98 Tahoe SSP...it was meant for heavier duty usage but neither were meant for pursuit work.

The Lumina had an RPO of 9C3, while the Caprice (until '96) was the pursuit-rated RPO 9C1.

Not all the 9C3 Lumina's had the 3.8...most had the 3.1, even with the dual exhaust and Recaro seats. If you could find a 3.8 car with Recaro's, and you're into Luminas, you should consider buying the whole car and not just parts.

3800 powered Lumina? That's gotta be pretty rare.

Not really. the LTZ package came with the 3.8 if I remember correctly.
