SAM programming and wild card in Quantro? Big Help needed??

Okay, here is another pain in the a_ _ question.. "sorry"
We are attempting to set up three funtions of the sam board.
1) MDC knockdown
2) MDC set up
3) MDC access only to qualify TX on the analog side.
4) Maybe even disable input PL on analog side.
I see that it has many tables and actions, so in other words when the SAM decodes an MDC for exapmle it would activate an output on the ux bus which would activate a command in the wild card, which would route audio and key the transmitter????
Does any one have success in doing such an operation, if so can you share your programming secrets????? Maybe even a forward in email of the staions code plug and sam MDC codeplug would be awesome.
Additionally, Is the manual any help, Can a "very simple" person understand it, and use it to program from.. What is the manual part ###.
Thanks, This is something that is really holding up putting the repeater in to service. Any "advanced" help would be graciously repaid in some way.. Again... Thanks to everyone who has helped so far...
