Tandy alert monitor programming

I have a Tandy alert monitor. I couldn't find any model information. Just that it's made by Tandy. Here are some pictures. I hope they work. This thing has a RS-232 port on the back. Anyone know how I could program this thing? It's set up for NOAA weather radio. I think it's also set to 155.820 to receive the alerts from the local military chemical depot. It has a gigantic speaker on the front and is very loud. I would love to re-program it to the fire department I am but I doubt it does QCII tones. Thanks in advance!

Can you provide some more pics of the rear panel, specifically the FCC ID label?

If this is just a scanner, you might have more luck over at RadioReference.

I managed to find out some information that may be relevant to this product.
Tandy was the old name for what is now Radio Shack. Being that this product that you have posted is manufactured by Tandy, it could be possible that it was a Radio Shack product, since they dropped the name Tandy all together in 2000.

If you could get us a little more information, like the FCC ID, or just a good picture of the back (the gray part), it may help us better identify the product exactly and then find more information on how it works.

Cheers,
Parker
