I am interfacing a CPI LE10 Remote Extension to a ASTRO Spectra Trunk Mount by moving the control head cable to J6 and utilizing J5 as the remote control point.
All works well except the Filtered Audio, Pin 6. In receive mode, no issues, but when the mobile is in transmit mode, this pin also produces the digital coded transmission, which amounts to continuous noise on subsequent remotes.
Is there a jumper to mute this pin when in transmit mode?

If I recall correctly, the LE-10 can be configured to mute it's own speaker on any PTT. The default, as shipped, is to NOT mute its own speaker when in transmit (for duplex applications). Not sure if that would also mute the speaker on other paralell LE-10's, but you could try it. The procedure is: (on the LE-10) Step 1: Solder-dot jumper JP-15 IN (found on board inside LE-10 - short the pads with solder). Step 2: Dip switch #4 (accessible thru bottom of housing) ON.
