Securenet 800 Trunked question

First, unsure of what category this truly goes in.
What I have:
A 2 site simulcast Motorola Smartnet Type II Trunked Radio System 800 MHz
Three different radios and a console
Radios in question are Motorola MCS 2000 (Type II Head)
Motorola Spectra Consolette station
Motorola MTS2000
All with appropriate Secure Board (DES-XL)
Consoles via Centracom Series II + setup on microwave circuit to the trunked bases.
Radios will all talk together in secure mode on a conventional channel.
Spectra and MTS (Except console no provision for that)
On trunked system:
Spectra, MTS2000 and consoles can all talk in secure.
MCS2000 will talk to everyone but can't here anyone in secure.
MCS2000 Radio been back to motorola numerous times last time statement was "we have no way to check secure operation while radio is in trunking"
MCS2000 will decode radio id of units talking in secure on the talkgroup (following control channel correctly) but won't receive secure while in trunking.
Anyone else had similar or have any suggestions/ideas?
Thanks in advance
Tony
