Or geeze, if you're like me, just buy another RJ45 and borrow a crimping tool from someone. pop off the old one, snap on the new one and be good as new.

I would do as Josh would, just make sure you get the wires in the correct order. I had someone who reversed the wires, and it took out the control head.

Two problems here. It's not an RJ45 - it's a ten pin connector - somewhat harder to find - which leads to the second problem of finding someone with a ten pin crimper to "borrow"
You can buy ten pin connectors from Graybar. GMP brand, #25127, plug, modular, 10X10, non-keyed.
The price of a ten pin GMP die and crimper [presser they call it] will scare you somewhat though.....

Which leads to an even better question... Will 8 of the 10 pins line up with an RJ-45 and if so, which two are not needed

The AARMN4026B mic cable has only eight wires, however, they are not the central eight on the ten pin connector. They are 1,2,4,5,6,7,9,10.

I have the connectors and crimper. I had to fix 25 of those mics, what a pain. If you want to ship me the unit (pay for both ways) I will replace you connector for $10.00
