Cost to flash Astro analog to digital

Post by Hightower »

How much does it cost (approx) an XTS3000 and XTS2500 to have flashed for digital IMBE?

Both radios just have the basic analog only flash.

Just looking for an approximate cost to have motorola do this.

Thanks

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

If it has the "ASTRO Ready" option, its approx 650-700 last time I checked.

If if does NOT like ASTRO Ready, then it is VSLEP, and the cost is/was around $400ish.

Your best bet is to contact your local Motorola dealer that deals with the highend radios (ie hold PD, FD contracts etc) as they will be able to get you current pricing and have the ability to order and perform the upgrade for you.

In Motorola's current catalog the list price for such an upgrade is $515.00. If you are a government agency, then you certainly can get access to discounted pricing from a government contract in use in your state/county/city.
