You can use the Astro Mobile RSS/CPS. Not sure of the latest version. It's the same software for the Astro Portables. I believe the newest RSS version is 9.05.

The current flavor is called CPS - Customer Programming Software. I think verison 5 or 6 is the current release.

However, you may be able to use older verisons of CPS or even RSS (dos based) depending on the version last used to program the radio. Once the radio is written with say... Version 2.5, you cannot use a verison less than that. You can go up, just not down.

You can order a legit copy of CPS from Motorola after you sign some licensing agreements. Before you ask, you cannot ask for the software here on the board if you are looking for it. Its against board rules and will earn you a "bad man" tag under your user name for awhile.

Oh, in case you were looking for a little more, there is no specific software for the different models...they will program all Astro Spectra Radios...W3, W9, Whatever.

R04.01.04 is the latest release for the Astro Spectra, Astro Saber, and XTS3000.

Thats what I thought too, but I thought I saw a post earlier (didn't check) that at least 5 was out. Must have been the Astro25 software.

They are up to 5 or 6 on Astro25, 4.01.04 for Spectra Saber XTS was released only a couple of months ago.
