what about these 403-438 astro spectras?

what about these 403-438 astro spectras?

hey I am sure its been on here before maybe I'm just having a hard time finding it, but can you take an astro spectra that is 403-438 and get it to work on 453 and 458 mhz? i would bet my answer is no I just needed someone to confirm that for me. thanks in advance.

Yes, you can. Is it practical, no. You'd need to replace all frequency-specific components in the radio and force a new codeplug into the radio for the correct band.
