Can anyone tell me if this xtl5000 flashcode 100001-000000-7
will do mdc1200 ptt id??
Options Installed on this Flashcode:
100001-000000-7
Q806/G806 IMBE / APCO-25 Digital Operation
H35/G48 Conventional Operation
But will it do basic mdc??
I still need the ordernumber for the programcable to this radio,
can anyone help me with this??
Maybe someone got one for sale??

It seems to depend on the firmware version; at least the handhelds xts5000 do only MDC with more recent firmware versions.Ahoeg wrote:Hello

Are you using APCO25 in .dk on a regular basis? Never have heard P25 there...also I never have heard MDC1200 in .dk when being on holiday there :-)

Basically it programs the same way as the Astro Spectra series. The CPS is laid out a little differently, but does the same thing. Operation wise, its basically the same thing. It all depends on the flashcode and firmware (usually).
We bought the our VHF XTL's when they were first released (supposely one of the first dept's in the county) and came with full MDC1200 options with the IMBE/Convetional/Display ID flashcode.
So, its a pretty good bet that if its anything other than the 700/800 XTL's (which were released well before the UHF/VHF radios) you should be good to go.
