What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

Yes, or at least it should. I ordered the XTL's with the same flash, but with H14, and it did the standard MDC1200 stuff just fine.

It seems to depend on the firmware version; at least the handhelds xts5000 do only MDC with more recent firmware versions.

Are you using APCO25 in .dk on a regular basis? Never have heard P25 there...also I never have heard MDC1200 in .dk when being on holiday there :-)

Basically it programs the same way as the Astro Spectra series. The CPS is laid out a little differently, but does the same thing. Operation wise, its basically the same thing. It all depends on the flashcode and firmware (usually).

We bought the our VHF XTL's when they were first released (supposely one of the first dept's in the county) and came with full MDC1200 options with the IMBE/Convetional/Display ID flashcode.

So, its a pretty good bet that if its anything other than the 700/800 XTL's (which were released well before the UHF/VHF radios) you should be good to go.
