Looking for anyone who's played with these lightheads, as I'm anticipating using them in an install. Curious to know how they perform when rotated vertically.
PM or reply. Thanks.

cant speak for mounting them sideways, but one of our unmarked suburbans is now sporting said lightheads in the front fenders and they are fat as a first grade pencil. No clue tho as to how they will do when vertically mounted. Good luck, let us know how they turn out.
Are you thinking about grill or body mounted?

Body-mounted on an industrial-style topper, fore and aft of the toolbox doors on each side and also on the rear panels outboard of the double-doors.
Can you comment on the light dispersion vertically and horizontally? As long as the lightheads have good dispersion on both axes, they should work just fine.
These lights will be used as part of a package, to include:
Forward - 2x 600-series red, 2x 500-series blue, alternating headlights, clear strobes in turn signals, 1x red/blue Talon in window
Side - 1x 500-series red (front), 2x 700-series split red/blue
Rear - 1x 700-series red, 1x 700-series blue, 2x 600-series red, LED directional arrow, strobes in brakes and reverse lights
All LED heads will be the Smart Linear-LED style units. All will be controlled by a Whelen CenCom.
I think it should look pretty nice. We'll see.
