this is just the latest on my install...
dual talons front and rear on custom brackets:
supports above the headliner to spread the weight of the flip-down monitor:
here's the monitor opened and swiveled a little:
next up is another custom bracket for the dash-cam and then i can put most of the interior back together.

How well does the Talon punch that dot-matrix crap on the windshield? My Super Duty has that stuff with "SUPER DUTY" written across it, and I'd really like to put a Talon or Slimlighter up there.

It will blow right through the dark tint line on an explorer. I would imagine the dot stuff doesn't bother it either.

the way i have mine mounted, only about the top 1/3 is obscured by the dot-matrix stuff. so it's hard to tell but i don't think it has a problem getting through it.

Well, I guess I need to sell my R/R Slimlighter and buy an R/R or R/B Talon then...

I have an old school slimlighter (the one with a million little LED's in my tinted back window. Even that goes right through it.

Cool. That's what I've got (the gen 1 5mm LEDs) in the older truck. Need to pull it out and see what happens...
