Changing band limits on Desktrac

Post by rockytom »

I have a DeskTrac repeater that I would like to bring down to 145.230/144.630! It is now good for 146.000-164.000 or so. I know it is two MaxTrac Radio's to make up the repeater and I have used to Hex Editer to try and convert it down, however, the read out does not seem to be the same as the examples in Batlabs for changing the freq. range on the Maxtrac! Has anyone done this? can I get some help? I have RSS 5.03 software and Breakpoint Hex Work Shop v4.2 Hex Editer.
Please e-mail direct if you can. [email protected]

It is not worth the time to mess with hex editing solutions for this issue. Just get the newer Maxtrac RSS [e.g. R07.02.00a] and use the shift key process to enter the out of band frequencies directly.
