Anyone done any installs in a Honda Odyssey minivan? I'd like to hear anyone's experiences with running power back to the rear cargo area for about 25-30A, and antenna ideas. The hole in the roof is not preferred but . . . how have you run cable to whatever antenna you chose?
Yes I know the Odyssey has 12v available in the cargo area but it's only 10A, so need more.
Thanks.

never having been inside them...is there any possibility of re-dragging the 10a line w/ something more hefty for your powersource? I am a big fan of following already established routes for running stuff...

I'm not familiar with that model, that is i haven't seen one up close, but you could probably just use an adjustable trunk lip mount on the rear hatch door.
Back before i put NMO mounts in the roof i used to have a mount like that on the top corner of the door edge and it worked great, just route the coax down and past the weatherstripping. A good no-holes solution.
If the rear power is like most i have tinkered on, it's usually just a feed down the wiring channel from the fuse panel. Normally under the door threshold trim along with the tail light wiring, etc. And at best it's probably 14 or 18 gauge wire.
Your going to need to run at least 8 gauge back if you go from the battery to be safe, and to prevent any drop in voltage. Usually those rear accessory power ports aren't that reliable for steady voltage and current.
