I'm having a problem with getting the MPL feature to work on the menu in my XTS5k... I have chosen MPL to be selected in the menu options.. but it does not display as a choice while going through the choices.... Any suggestions? I have the option for each channel I need MPL on, checked... so.. I've made the MPL list.... just cant get to it from the menu..
:::puzzled::::
Thanks in advance.

did you check user selectable PL [ MPL] check box in the zone channel assignment for the channels that you want MPL to be applied to ? MPL is not global to every channel in the radio, it must be selected on a per channel basis.
Mike
OOPs my mistake,
I see that you do have it selected in the zone channel assignment for the channels you want MPL on, I have some of the same flash radios here let me try it on mine and see if it works.

You'll need a "firmware upgrade" in your HT to R06.00.00 to get the MPL to be an active menu option. Then you can create up to 16 PL's to call from in the MPL list.
I had a R05.01.00 firmware in the radio then M sent the newest CPS with the MPL feature. I called and had the HT sent to the Depot for a "Firmware upgrade" to R06.00.00. You can however order this upgrade for $75 for each HT and upgrade them yourself. You'll need CPS, prog cable and the Depot sends a device with the firmware code to be downloaded to each radio. The device is pre-loaded for the number of HT's you want to program. Sneeky M keeps you from upgrading endless numbers of HT's.

It's been posted before here as Q880AD and the price I get is from other posts as well...$75. My HT went in for repair and was upgraded without addtional cost as part of the repair.
I would just ask for it in plain english or say it might be Q880AD.
