AS3 Speaker mic problem.......

Hey all,
Here's one for ya'
I have an AS3 that works fine until you put the speaker mic on it, then there is no TX audio from the the speaker mic, only the built-in mic. RX audio comes through the speaker mic just fine. I've eliminated the speaker mic as the cause of the problem (it works fine on my other AS3), so that's not it.
Any ideas?
