Hello, just an FYI, and invite for all to try. Thanks to the help of a very kind Batboard member, I’m putting up a mixed mode Quantar on 2 meters. It’s just going to be low level, and on the test pair unit I find a better location. The freq is 145.250 -600KHz input. The analog squelch is DPL 071, and the Digital SQL will be NAC 293. As I said it’s low level, at my house north of Salem. It’s open for all to use, and I would love to hear some P-25 audio on it. As of now, I only know of one other ham in the local area with a VHF P25 radio. I hope to get it in a good location, but all 2 meter pairs are used in the area. I will need to find a currant repeater owner/operator who does not mind some digital buzzing once in a while.
Enjoy,
Jim.

Update, Hello, the repeater has been moved to a new location, and frequency. It is now on Chehalem Mt near Newberg, OR. It has good coverage south, and some into Portland. It’s new frequency is 145.49 -600Khz. It is in digital CSQ right now, but my radio is set for NAC 293. It is still in CSQ on the analog side. It is an open repeater, free for all to use and enjoy. If you are going to use P25 on it, please announce on analog that you are going to use digital. I hope this will help spark some interest in P25 on the ham bands.
If the repeater does get some use on P25, I will look into getting another VHF Quantar up in the Portland area. If I had some UHF units, I would focus on the 440 band as well.
