Does anyone know how to adjust the repeater tail on a stock Micor station UHF?

Is there a card that needs to be modded? A pot to adjust?

My two bits worth:
There is a jumper on the SQUELCH GATE card.
The jumper, which MUST be connected to one of the pins sets the DOD (Drop Out Delay).
A setting of 0 is actually about .5 second.

The card can be very difficult to remove. be sure the pins are properly aligned when re installing the card.

The manual for this card is in the Orange "Application & Control manual.

Bernie is correct. On the Squelch Gate module you'll see a jumper going to a pin that has a number marked on it. In the same vicinity you'll see other pins that jumper can connect to with other numbers such as 0, 1, 2, 5, etc... There is 4 or 5 of them IIRC...

Just move the jumper to change the hang time.

Thanks guys. So if a setting of 0 is .5 sec than is 1, 1sec and 2, 1.5sec? I do not currently have the manual. I saw one online and am going to scoop it up.

GEMOTO, I'll dig up my service manuals for that station tomorrow and let you know.

It's a Black Jumper wire towards the middle bottom of the Squelch Gate Module and the Pins should be marked as 0, 1, 2, 4, 8 All in Seconds covering the internal hang time or signal fading conditions for Subscriber units (Portables or Mobiles) so the repeater's transmitter does not drop out.

Ok, thanks for the help Dan and d119. Got it working great. I did find the jumper right away.
