G'Day all from downunder :D

In the Motorola ZR310 (made by Zetron), is there anyway of setting the "hog timer" which is preset to 6 minutes???

In most Zetron repeater controllers you can set the hog timer but in the ZR310's service software there's no setting for any "hog timer"!!!!

Thanx, Mick

Mick,
I've got codes for over the air programing....
Enter program mode access code(default 12310) followed by #
listen for 3 chirps which identifies proper access
Enter 201#
Enter time _ # setup for minute intervals(1-9 default should be at 3 minutes)
To set for 2 minutes your programing code would be 201#2#
Exit programing mode 99# listen for a ring prompt and life will be good.

Thanx for the reply,

I'm not talking about the "time-out" which reset's after the user unkey's.

I'm talking about a timer that sound's after the repeater has been keyed for more then 6 minute's by any one user without allowing the tail to drop.

This sound may be an error tone or a "hog timer" like the Zetron 38A has!

If the user still keeps keying the repeater after this tone start's, it Ignore's that user's group for 6 minute's.

Sorry Mick,
I can't seem to find anything on it. My manuals are very basic.

I would be rapped, if you can come up with any info on this "hog timer" :)

My manual shows nothing about it.
