Can anyone tell me before I even Make an attempt, can the xts3000 be programmed with the cps 6.001......version software or does it have to be the cps astro digital 1.000 software???????? Realy all i want to do is make my radio scan talkgroups????? I am new to the xts and trunking for the most part....

XTS 3000 wil use either:
Astro Portable RSS 9.05 (unless previously programmed with greater than CPS version 4)

or

Astro Portable CPS Version 4.01.04
The version 6 you refer to is not for the XTS3000. That version is for the XTS5000, 2500, 1500, MT1500, PR1500
