Well, I have this problem, I was programing my radio gp300-5t actually, I was in mode radio aligment, when power turned off I mean on power of my computer, now my radio blinks (red, yellow and green), I can' t read or write to radio. I allways get codeplug error 1.
What to do?

The RSS program manual which I have says that a Code 1 error message indicates a parity error with the probable causes being a bad connection to the radio OR a bad logic board. The fixes are to check the connections and/or to replace the logic board.

I don't know if this applies to your 5T model GP300. Good luck.

I got a GP300-5T about a year ago from a radio show in the UK, it did the same thing: blinked Red, Orange Green, unable to read or write...
This one gave the error 4..
I fixed it by getting a copy of GP-Tools and running it on a S L O W computer and inspecting the code plug, the GP300-5T sprang straight back to life . The information I got from the BatLabs GP300 page..
