Shoe charger (NTN7209A)

One of my old shoe style chargers for the Jedi radios may have a problem. The Red and Green LED's flash on / off about every 30 seconds. The does the same with or without a battery, and generally sits without a battery plugged in.
Any idea what the flashing means so I can take a look and fix it?
Thanks
Sandy

I saw "shoe charger" and envisioned Maxwell Smart's shoe getting a charge.
Thanks for the chuckle and good luck with your problem.

Thanks Will.
I'll open it up and check all the connections and see if that does the trick. I'll bet it has something to do with my 2 yr old dropping on the wood floors a bunch of times...
It's a funny looking charger

Yup, a bit funny looking. I like them though cause it takes the standard computer cord, don't have to drag around a wall wart for it. A little trivia:
the NTN7209 part# is for the base unit only (less cord). When you buy it with a cord the part# turns into NTN1168 for US and also carries parts #'s
NTN1167 and NTN1169 for offshore versions. Same base and just using different cords it can be used on 220 and 230. I've seen it referred to as a 'world charger'.
