Need R.I.C.K. Help ASAP

Post by Search »

Hi Guys;

Let me explain what i'm trying to do, and maybe someone can set me in the right direction. We will be working a search and rescue call in the morning, and I hope to be able to do what I need to do.
First off, we have a GR400 VHF repeater in a portable field unit. The unit is currently out of service, because of an issue with the duplexer. What I am trying to do is make a VHF to UHF bi-directional crossband link with the VHF radios, m120 I believe, and a M1225. The M120's would be the VHF radios, and the M1225 the UHF. There is a RICK controller inside. I need to know how to switch the RICK from a repeater controller to a crossband controller. I'm assuming that dip switches need to be altered. I'd like to put the unit ontop of the mountain, and have what the field units are transmitting on VHF to link to UHF, so we can hear them at command. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks
