Saber Charger acting Strange

Post by NSPD »

I have a Single Saber Rapid Charger here that will not charge.. The red charging light comes on for a moment, then it goes off and the charger starts to make a strange buzzing noise. Any ideas on what could cause this?

Saber charger...

There is a current thread here on the same subject that you may find helpful.

Generally speaking, these chargers are fairly sophisticated units, and without
a service manual you don't have much chance of success in repairing one.

In the other thread the consensus seemed to be to discard the bad unit and
buy another one. Of late their prices have come down significantly.

I still want to try repairing mine though. How about the service manual, what is the part number of the one with schematics of this unit? Or if you have the schematics, care to share? LOL

Hey guys,

There is a ton of of those chargers on ebay, They are pretty cheap in price and they look to be in good condition.

Stop being cheap and get one. You can get a decent one for under 30.00
