XTS3000 DPL/PL problem???

On a certain repeater while using the XTS3000 as a reciever either in scan or non scan modes ocassionally the radio will not RX the repeater.

You can see the busy light light up, but no audio. If you key the radio it will then work, but if you key it and wait about a minute or two it will not rx the repeater.

It does this randomly, not all the time.

Could it be that the PL dev on the repeater is too low, or that the portable might be in a fringe area and decoding the pl/dpl?

Any one got any ideas. Thanks, Rob

I highly doubt the PL deviation is too low, otherwise their crappy HAM equipment sure as heck won't be able to decode it if your 3000 cannot.

Are other radios you use having this issue, or just your 3000?

Okay, It is going to sound wierd, But I am having the same problem with my 3500... It is only on my repeater for some reason, I just don't understand it.. It is just sometimes they don't won't to decode the DPL. When the output of my box was TPL it even has the same problem.

Thanks, Rob

Are you having any trouble receiving the repeater when not scanning? Also, what setting do you have for your RX unmute rule?
