Spectra in a Ford Taurus

I need some ideas for mounting an A4 remote head in a Taurus with a center console. BTW this is a 96-99 style taurus.
I was thik about mounting it parallel with the console on the pass. side but I am worried about the pass. hitting it with their knee.
My other idea was on the floor along the drivers side of the console.
Lastly I was going to try mounting the head to a Pro-Fit bracket on the dashboard. The braket is angled towards the driver and hangs down below the radio.
The deck unit is going to be mounted in the trunk under the deck area.
Your ideas are appreciated.
