Can you make a HT1250 a securenet radio? And how with what parts? I know i heard it before some where but i can't locate where i saw it. Thanks for looking at this post.

It's not capable of Motorola's SecureNet encryption. But you can get aftermarket scramblers from Midian and others.

i had 3 HT1250LS radios a number of years ago. all of them had Midians TVS2-PRO Rolling code scrambler boards. they are plug and play for the most part, you just need to tell CPS you have an option board i think. and you need midians TVS2Pro Programmer. i used the ROlling code scrambling on an LTR System for a while with fair results. the worse the signal in the worse it sounded but otherwise, you get a good sig in, is sounded ok. the TVS2-PRO board replaces the Keypad board.
if i recall the boards were 179 each. and the midian programmer was 79.
