Minitor V problem with group 6 tones

Went to program up our first batch of Minitor V pagers and ran into a problem. We use all Motorola Group 6 tones so I selected Motorola in the system type. When I went to the F1 tab I selected R-97 as the option then went to the A tone box and got the tone selection menu with no problem.

When I went to do the same for the B tone I found a blank space where group 6 tone 4 (1251.4) should be. Tryed all other code options and on all of them there is a blank space where tone 4 should be.

I downloaded version 1.2.2 from MOL and it is the same (was on 1.2.1)

The only way I can put 1251.4 in is to select USER as the system type and it gets rounded up 2 hz.

Just for kicks I tryed the same thing on the Windows version of Minitor IV and found the same thing. All my Minitor IV where previously programed with the DOS programmer and I do not remember having any problems.

Geez, I caned all the Plectron tones years ago and went to Motorola tones, who would have thought that their software would not accept their tones??

Any ideas, I know I can leave it as USER and the rounding will not effect how the pager works but I would realy like to be able to select Motorola and use the tone selection check box the way it was intended.

Any more news on the Charger Amp SRN, I hate to put these things out knowing there are problems brewing.

I ran into the same problem a year ago. Big /\/\ said it was a "harmonics problem causeing faults." They took it out of the new windows software. Funny it worked great for me. Anyway "user" worked fine for my system. Then we just had are dispatch change the tone during an upgrade.

we have the same issue here. Our second tone is 1251.4. We attempted to program the new 5's with that tone, but unless we use User as a tone choice, that tone isn't on the list of acceptable tones.
