Re-Install Help

I took my Full size bronco off the road in preparation for major overhaul. Beside the sheet metal problems usually associated with a bronco, I'm having a bit of a problem: Multiple radio speakers & too many microphones.

Did /\/\ ever make a radio selector system that provided a summing output for connection to a radio rebroadcast and an integrated microphone system?

Here's the Inventory:
Fedsig Interceptor 400 (no siren, just PA, light control, air horn, & rebroadcast)
VHF Spectra
UHF Syntor 9000 (hopefully to be replace by a Spectra)
800 trunking scanner
MICOM-X

All of the control heads except the MICOM are installed in a Troy floor mount console, so hopefully there is a commercial product that will work and fit the console

Moto hasnt made anything to do exactly as you want (that I know of, maybe they have done some custom units for specific applications or agencies)

But, what you are wanting to do could be achieved fairly easily. I have done this with 2 maxtracs and 2 GM300's. Granted they are all of the Radius series, it was pretty easy.

I would just make sure your microphone impedances were the same, and pick the best microphone out of all of them for your main mic. I would also make sure to use some good quality audio cable for interconnecting to make sure you prevent any noise crap getting into your mic line...

my .02 cents...
