Will I be able to mount a GE Rangr S2503 Control Head, in the following Center Console from GALLS?

I know this isn't helpful.... but I would personally avoid the console all together. I have one and was very disappointed in it. Mine was poorly made, few of the holes lined up the way they were supposed too, and much of my equipment was too big or too small to mount in it. :) Just my two cents.

I agree, I would dispense the same, hopefully helpful advice. Know 2 departments that used this kind of console in order to save a few dollars. They ended up trashing them and buying havis.

I actually have one I want to unload lol, it wouldn't be bad if you had a shop, and were good with tools. Then you could mod it to fit your purposes... but for me... I'm looking at getting a troy console. :)

In this case, you get what you pay for.

We have had issues at the agency that I was with for a while with one older Crown Vic with one of these POS consoles.

The plastic tears easily, pieceing the whole thing together is a total mess

We have purcahsed 2 total consoles to replace the origional ones because they have fallen apart.

Actual devices that were mounted in the console either couldnt be mounted flush or otherwise were "doctored" to work with the console.

A extreamly horrible design.

I have a Troy in my truck - it was NOT CHEAP however, it is extreamly easy to install, looks great, and all the cutouts are very well designed, the metal that is used is all 16-18 guage metal, powder coated, and they use security screws to mount everything to the console.

Great design, and I wouldn't think twice about recomending troy.

STAY AWAY FROM GALLS S*****T.

We spent more money in man-hours making one of those consoles fit, than we spent just buying a Havis console to replace it. In all, it cost about 3 times what it should have.
And unless you mount the console vertically, the Ranger head wont work mounted thru the face. It almost has to go in a horizontal plane. You could mount it to a blank faceplate.
