MC3000 deskset do radio inhibit?

Post by eboe »

i'm looking through the literature on the MC series desksets. on the MC2000 & 2500 specsheet, it mentions that they are capable of radio enable/disable encode. on the MC3000 specsheet, it makes no such reference.

the $64,000 question is:
will the MC3000 encode a selective radio inhibit signal?

Thanks,
Walt

No, because the MC3000 only acts as a remote control head for an Astro Spectra consolette or MCS2000 Model III radio. It is not a "console" in the sense that the MC2000/2500 is. It adds no extra functionality over & above what the radio is normally capable of.
