Can anyone help me - I am looking for the M part number for the small VHF antenna (about 4.5") we have on our XTS's. Our XTS's have been coming with the standard 8" VHF antenna's but our detectives need the smaller version for field use and plainclothes. The one I have looks like the VHF antenna that used to come on the VISAR portables, are they the same SF connector - if so I would just buy those?
Any help is appreciated.

As far as I know, there are only two antenna options for the XTS-series VHF portables - the 8" flexible antenna you're seeing and the ~10" semi-rigid wideband dipole antenna.
You're correct about the Visar antennas - they'll work fine. Keep in mind that you'll lose some coverage compared to the standard Heliflex 8" antennas.
The part number should be 8505834W02 for the stubby 5" Visar antenna, 150-162MHz.

RAD4194 is the part # for the other stubby they make (150-162). Tried it but I like the Visar antenna better which is a bit longer but's flexible. The
antenna's they come with are a bit much, the guys I worked with were bending those large antenna's around and taping them to the other side of the radio like a horseshoe. I talked them into getting Visar antenna's for the fleet after they 1st made me field test them and results were close to the longer type, just a bit less in the extreme fringes which was a much better situation that the 'horseshoe' antenna's.
